August 24 – September 4, I ventured back to Europe to hit 7 countries in 12 days. Simply put, it was incredible! I visited the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and France. I saw a lot considering the short amount of time in each city and am confident I will return to most of these places again in the not too distant future. I also met some incredible people from around the world who I will never forget.
Of course the highlights of any of my adventures are the photographs I bring home. I brought back over 2,500 images which I am working to narrow down and post as soon as possible. However as I sort through I will post one image from each group of photos I conquer to keep you updated and excited for what’s to come.
The first image is from my first stop in London. Although it was a rainy, gray day, I am thankful for the drama the weather provided many of my photos. This photograph is of the recently completed Shard London Bridge. The Shard is the tallest completed building in Europe, and is also the second-tallest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom, after the 330-metre (1,083 ft) concrete tower at the Emley Moor transmitting station.
I look forward to sharing more photos soon! 🙂
